Montenegro - Tivat
Tivat lies in the middle part of the bay in Boka Kotorska (Kotor Bay), with its mild Mediterranean climate, warm winter and clean sea, it has always attracted tourists from all over the world.
Tivat is the newest and smallest municipality in the Bay of Kotor. Altogether it covers about 46 km2 and has a population of about 13.000. Tivat occupies a enviable position overlooking Kotor Bay and is one of the only coastal locations in Montenegro to have its own airport just 2 km away which recently benefited from The European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Bank for Restructuring and Development (EBRD) funding to extend the terminal building to 1 thousand sqm.
